It started with a song… one year ago today! One entire year of life and all of the experiences to go along with it, and I am still here to write about it! Honestly, if you had asked me what I would write on the anniversary of my first blog post in October of last year, or December, January, April…. I would probably have said “nothing”. There have been many days, weeks and sometimes whole months when I doubted I would be here, on this earth, alive and dancing to my own tune. But, I am! I am alive and for this I am truly grateful. I don’t know what this new year will bring, but I do know that music will always be a part of it.
So, as a recap, I’ve listed all of the songs below that have been a part of my life over the past 12 months. These wonderfully talented musicians inspire me so much. I am in awe of their many talents and grateful for the joy they choose to share with the world. I have a few favorites, but if you read this blog, you might already know that!. Each song is a gift to me, it is meaningful and it is enduring. I have no doubt that they will last much longer than I will but that’s what makes these gifts of music so special. The memories, the music, and what they inspire in each and every one of us. You may not always enjoy what’s going on in your life at the time, but I can guarantee that there is a song that exemplifies exactly how or what you are feeling.
Here’s my year in songs…

For now I leave you with one last song, one I haven’t shared but, it has so much meaning for me and perhaps listening to it, you can figure out why. The song is Go Through It by Griffin House.
I wish you joy, peace and the strength to make it through. And always music.
It started with a song… and ended with a smile!
Until next time,
